Welcome to Mrs. Sandoval's Language Arts and A.V.I.D classes,

This is my 15 year teaching in the Oceanside Unified School district. I have taught 7th grade for the last 5 years at King. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Dowling University on Long Island New York, I also hold a Paralegal Degree from Hofstra University LI. I moved to California in 1995 and then received my teaching credential from National University. In 2000 I got my Masters MAT, in Teaching from Grand Canyon University. I am currently working on my National Board Certification and plan to pursue my PHD when my last child is in High school. As for my family I am married to a Navy man who is retiring this year from 20 years of service. I currently have two kids in high school. Kirsten is a cheerleader and a scholar student, graduating in 2010. Samantha is a freshman and is running for the cross country team. My third child Travis attends King Middle school with me and plays soccer and baseball. My family and I enjoy traveling and playing hard. We ride motorcycles in the desert, ski, and travel frequently, this year we are going to Hawaii for my husband’s retirement and my daughter graduation.
