Good morning to you all!  I hope this finds all of you healthy, safe, and worry-free.  These are unprecedented times, to be sure, but we will get through them together.  I believe that, with a Growth Mindset, we will all emerge stronger for the experience.  Just be kind to all and take care of one another.

Beginning tomorrow, I will be posting daily assignments.  These will be collected and graded when we are all together again, so please be sure to carve some time out daily for English-Language Arts.

Daily Objective:  Over the course of four days, SWBET examine the author's craft of foreshadowing as they read "The Landlady," by Roald Dahl.  SW complete classwork assignments and demonstrate comprehension by taking a 20-question test on this short story.

Due Tuesday, August 27:  A procedures and routines One Pager.  The One Pager will count as a separate classwork grade; it will be graded according to completion, content, and overall visual appeal.  In addition, you will be allowed to use your One Pager during the procedures and routines test (also on Tuesday, August 27).  I do want everyone to have a wonderful weekend - you have most assuredly earned it - but please, please carve out some time this weekend to complete this assignment!
